The Lenteney waterfall, our namesake, is without a doubt the gem of the area.
Taking a break here, you can choose to admire the beauty of the waterfall either from the path above it or from our panoramic terrace reserved for the customers of our bar.
The Lenteney waterfall is born from a lake of snowfields of the Paramont group which descends foaming through the Derby Forest arriving at the little bridge where you can admire the strength where the water meets the Dora Baltea.

Our unique location in Lenteney (a hamlet of La Salle in the Aosta province) ensures a panoramic view of Mont Blanc and the waterfall which changes appearance depending on the changing seasons.
In the summer there is a constant background noise that lends a beneficial, relaxing energy; in the winter it freezes over, creating a sublime show that can only come from uncontaminated nature.

A relaxing break in natural beauty during your Val d’Aosta holiday
Greetings from Michela, Claudia and Camilla, mum and daughters, and owners of the new Bar and Chambre d’hôtes La Cascata.
Thanks to our love for the local area, passion for work and desire for others to get to know the charm of the place, we have decided to open the legendary bar again, giving it a new look and making it a meeting place for locals and tourists of Derby, La Salle and the Valdigne in general.
Breakfast times for the rooms: 7.30 – 9.30
From breakfast to aperitif
Breakfast
We are open all year round from 7am to 8:30am (except Sunday when we open at 7:30am and Wednesday when we are closed) and offer excellent ideas for breakfast, cold lunches, snacks and aperitifs.
At breakfast you can sample local products, such as yoghurt from a small producer, locally produced jams, as well as biscuits and our savoury dishes, with fresh cold cuts (of meats and cheeses from the area).
Our lunch menus offer various cold cuts and cheeses, sandwiches, focaccia, piadina, toasted sandwiches and salads, as well as a few cold dishes.
At aperitif time we offer all the main cocktails, Spritz and beer or red or white wines.
Any occasion to eat and drink can be enjoyed in our enchanting terrace in the summer and inside in the winter, warming beside the wood fireplace.

We are in the middle of nature where you can relax in our garden, where we are also about to create a wellbeing area with a sauna (available to use depending on snow conditions) and solarium with sunbeds. Moreover, this is the spot where two average difficulty paths leading to Chabodey and Lazey, excellent ideas for romantic walks, hand in hand.

Above all, a couples’ holiday the Val d’Aosta gives everyone the chance to share new experiences. Activities in the open air, both in summer and winter, but also visits to the cultural hotspots of the area and wine and gourmet cuisine.

Note: we are animal lovers, and live with cats and dogs, but the characteristics of our rooms (and for unpleasant past experiences) unfortunately we do not accept animals in the structure.

Cancellation Policies
In the event of cancellation of the stay, for reasons not attributable to the Hotel, the Customer will still be required to pay the following sums: cancellation is free up to two weeks before the date of your arrival with the creation of a voucher for the sum already paid by you deposited, if you cancel after this date without requesting the voucher there will be a 100% penalty

Our rooms are perfectly soundproofed and guaranteeing quality sleep time. You are close to the waterfall and can choose to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the water – but only if you decide to leave the window open ☺

When you get to your room you will find a generous welcome kit withhand soap, shampoo-shower, balm, body cream, intimate cleanser, vanity set, dental care set, shaving kit, hair dryer” and 2 glasses (the water comes directly from the river and is delicious!)
Our cosmetics line is from Dr Nicola, a local producer who is very attentive to environment impact and sustainable development, just like all our other suppliers who have been carefully selected.

You can find us in Località Lenteney, 2 in La Salle, Aosta, the perfect place for a romantic stay in complete peace and quiet, but convenient enough to visit the rest of the Val d’Aosta, considering that we are midway between Aosta and Courmayeur and also for the QC Terme Pré Saint Didier spa.

La Salle in summer
Summer
As summer draws in, it brings with it a sense of calm and a desire to travel. This is the moment when the Val d’Aosta becomes an enchanting festival of colours, perfumes and the chance for a number of activities outside.
Trekking
You can find kilometres of paths and views that range from Gran Paradiso to Mont Blanc. Moreover, La Salle is one of the stops on the Balteo Walk, an itinerary of almost 350km that crosses the region.
Bike
La Salle boasts a number of e-bike charge points, so even non-professional riders can take on the most challenging climbs. What’s more, you can discover the emotions that await you at the bike park La Tana degli Orsi, with 5 tracks of varying difficulty (and an easy track to return to the start point).
Moreover, our structure has 2 e-bikes to hire at competitive rates!
Horse-riding
Celebrate contact with mature by going horse-riding. Thanks to the various stables in the area, you can organise a horse-ride or cart journey or even horse-riding lessons.
Rafting
The perfect way to freshen up, between adrenaline and splendid natural views, like in front of the walls of rock of the Mont Blanc massif and the canyons that you can discover on a raft.

Winter
In winter the candid white landscape inspires snow sports, from the most exciting adrenaline rushes to the calmer ones that are perfect for those a little less in shape. Without forgetting the pleasure of wallowing in the warmth of a spa like Pré Saint Didier, after the healthy fatigue of a day in the open air.
Downhill skiing
La Salle boasts a privileged position, very close to the ski resorts in Courmayeur and La Thuile, with the chance of spending an alternative day also visiting the resorts of the Val d’Aosta, such as Pila, Cervinia and Monterosa Ski.
Upon request, we have family ski instructors available! Camilla and Matteo will be happy to accompany you on a fun day on the slopes!
Cross-country skiing
In the area there is no lacking in occasions for going cross-country skiing, which is made even more special by the incredible natural context. Breath-taking views are guaranteed!
Ski mountaineering
Check the snow and avalanche reports and if the conditions are right you can go off on a discover of this fantastic, ancient discipline which will bring you into intimate contact with the mountain and nature. First, climb the slopes with your seal skins and then… enjoy your free descent! La Salle is popular for ski mountaineering thanks to its charming itineraries on the highest summits in Europe.
Snowshoes
No more excuses: here is a healthy activity suitable for everyone to discover the territory in the freest way possible. In fact, with your ski shoes (and poles) you can walk on the snow creating your favourite itinerary – easy or more difficult – depending on how in shape you are.
